The book packer thing was hysterical! Jesus I almost pissed my pants! The idea of Rick Reilly 18 years old, dressed in leather, walking on all fours with a book between his teeth in some 50-year-old man’s bedroom. . .gaaaahahahahaha I’m still laughing my ass off!

On a more serious note, Rick is a hack. He picks the easiest subjects on earth (every writer says don’t do lists because they’re a fucking cop-out and anyone whos finished preschool can do them. Just because a retarded ape can understand it doesnt make it good prose.) But that makes him suited for ESPN, the center of universal blandness, political correctness, recycled ideas, and shameless pandering.

I think you’re the dull and useless writer here..there’s so many things wrong with what you’ve written its not even worth reading..but because i was so intruiged by your idiocy I gave it a try. I’m not the biggest Rick Reilly fan, i think there’s much better writers out there. But with this particular article, did you ever think he added some abscure events because he’s BEEN TO THE OTHER ONES?? what big time sports writer HASNT been to the super bowl?

And you completely contradict yourself. You blame him for not being original by picking two popular sporting events at the end of your..whatever you call this, but in the middle you say “Rick must be going out of his way to pick sports that absolutely no one cares about except the people participating.” WHAT THE F DO YOU WANT??

Listen i dont know if this guy abused you as a child or if he killed your dog but seriously dont you have anything better to do?

So Rick appeared on “The Herd” today, it was hosted by Eric K. And guess what question Eric asks? What is Rick’s number one, must see sports event before you die… seems like they know he wrote the column, and they are helping him mail it in on radio too! Then the host asks Rick, who is at the British Open this weekend, who Rick thinks will win… Rick offers Steve Stricker. Decent choice, he is a good ball striker playing a ball striker’s course, whatever that means, but all around so-so choice. Rick’s primary reason for picking Stricker on The Herd to win the British Open? Mr. Stricker has a new agent. I kid you not. First thing out of his mouth. I coughed up my Diet Coke. Anyhow, glad you are back. Keep plugging and the Evil will end.
