Jose Canseco Inevitably Goes Broke, Announces Via Twitter

Jose Canseco has apparently gone broke, according to his latest Twitter updates. This is certainly not unexpected. In fact, I called it just a few months ago.  I then had a little pleasant back-and-forth with Jose Canseco’s agent. Apparently everything was under control and my prediction of his demise was unfounded.

Anyway, looks like I was right.

I still haven’t heard anything about Ozzie Canseco getting into a fire fight with any federal agents, though.   Don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly happy about this. I don’t wish the guy any harm, but was there ever a more predictable downfall? His tweets were definitely something from the mind of a madman, or at least someone trying desperately, and failing, to keep it together. And the last we had heard from him, Canseco was fighting, and losing to, a 60-year-old man.

Today those tweets were slightly more cogent, and they announced that he was broke and had been evicted.

Apparently, MLB is to blame, if one believes Canseco, and his book, Juiced, caused so much backlash that he’s fallen on these hard times. Which kind of doesn’t make a ton of sense because the book sold pretty well. Anyway. I suppose that Major League Baseball doesn’t like him, but I don’t they would have gone to the trouble to ruin the guy’s life, especially because he hasn’t been relevant in so long.Pretty clear that he brought this about himself. Though I do feel bad for him. Kind of. He is pretty annoying.

I’m not sure what the “modern day Frankenstein” thing means, though. I guess because he’s an outcast from society.

No worries, though. He’s already got a reality show in the works (in his mind at least). I’d watch that. “From the Penthouse to the Garage,” staring Jose and Ozzie Canseco. Good luck, Jose, really.
